I’ve used mine almost daily for a year, and I’ve barely put a dent in it. With the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Naturals, a little goes a long way. ![]() $32 for this), 2) available in fewer shades. The effect reminds me of Chanel’s Loose Powder, which is absolutely beautiful, but Chanel’s powder is also 1) much more expensive ($52 vs. The powder also doesn’t look super obvious. When I wear it, my skin looks even toned, smooth, and it doesn’t look shiny (nor does it look severely matte). But MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural bucks that trend. Less like makeup and more like real skin. ![]() Unlike many pressed powder formulas, the Mineralize Skinfinish Naturals look more like loose powders than pressed powders when they’re sitting on the skin.Īfter having taken a zillion pictures over the years, I think that loose powders generally look better than pressed powders in person and in pics - softer, I guess. I’ve worn it for everyday makeup looks, big events, pictures, HD video, daytime work meetings, dinner dates and taking Rosie out for her walks, and I think it looks just as good on camera as it does in real life. Wearing MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Medium Tan with Dior Diorskin Nude Air Serum The gist of it is this: in powder-land, MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural is my current favorite powder across the board - not just from MAC - for casual, dewy, natural-looking skin. I love so many things about this powder! - but I’m going to try to keep this short (yeah right, Karen), because otherwise we’d be here ’til next Tuesday. I love these Paint Pots.MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Medium Tan on my NC42 skin MAC Paint Pots don’t dry out, at least mine that are a year old are still super creamy. It has a long wand with more teeth concentrated at the top, and it looks promising. So I haven’t worn it yet, but as soon as I feel better, I will be dying to try this new for me shade as well as the sample mascara that I got: MAC In Extreme Dimension 3D Black Lash. Right now, I’m still not feeling that great, and I’m Layin’ Low. And when I compared the two shades, they are definitely different enough. When I first opened Layin’ Low, I wondered if it was different enough from Painterly. Definitely a shade that will suit me with my red hair. When it arrived, it looked less like “creamy beige” and more like browned peach like the swatch I saw online. I chose Layin’ Low, described as “creamy beige”. Now, MAC offers 7 shades, a mix of mattes, pearls and shimmers. So when MAC decided to throw in free shipping, I ordered online and took a chance on the shade I chose. The sales associate told me that they weren’t allowed to offer the discount. I had planned to go to Macy’s to look at the actual shades of Paint Pots, but I called first to see if they had them in stock. So I better keep buying them if I want them to remain around. Maybe I’m one of the few who loves cream shadows. In fact, I wish I had known they were on sale for $13 on Nordstrom Rack where they’re now just about sold out except for black and brown. Recently I noticed that MAC decreased the number of Paint Pots shades rather substantially, boo. ![]() I also bought Antique Diamond, a sparkly silver grey shade. Originally, I bought Painterly, the pale pink nude cream shadow reviewed here, that makes a wonderful base or a nice everyday shade to wear on its own. Time for me to add to my collection of Paint Pots. The Paint Pots are creamy, highly pigmented, long wearing, easy to apply and blend cream shadows that are perfect for my dry lids. MAC had a 20% off sale after Memorial Day for their Select members (all you have to do is sign up, no purchase requirements), and when they added in free shipping, bingo.
